Australian Catholic University (ACU) was established in 1990 through incorporation as a public company limited by guarantee, incorporated pursuant to the Corporations Act.
ACU is a public university, funded by the Commonwealth Government, and is open to students and staff of all religious beliefs.
ACU has approximately 35,000 students and 2,500 staff spread across seven (7) campuses: Melbourne, Ballarat, Strathfield, North Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, and Adelaide. Headquarters are located in North Sydney.
ACU is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified suppliers, to undertake the following works at ACU's Melbourne Campus, in selected teaching spaces.
The work covered by this Request for EOI will comprise:
* Installing/terminating/certifying new Category 6 Ethernet cabling in selected teaching spaces where no Ethernet cable is currently installed;
* Installing/terminating/certifying new Category 6 Ethernet cabling to replace older category (non-gigabit) Ethernet cabling in selected teaching spaces; and
* Replacing currently installed Cisco or Xirrus access points with new Cisco 3802 access points.
