Major Event Attraction and Management

⁠⁠⁠11409 - Ipswich City Council is seeking Expressions of Interest for a partner to lead an innovative approach to major event attraction and management.

Working closely with Council and operating in clear alignment with Council’s objectives, this partner will engage with authorities, venue operators, event owners and stakeholders to deliver a diverse, high quality, year-round, citywide portfolio of events.

A business plan, budget and performance measures covering all of the below responsibilities will define the partnership and drive community and economic benefit for the City of Ipswich:
(a) Whole-of-city medium to major event strategy;
(b) Medium to major event attraction;
(c) Medium to major event agreement management;
(d) Medium to major event promotion and activation;
(e) Medium to major event sponsorship and grants;
(f) Small and community event engagement and advice;
(g) Regional and state sporting championship attraction; and
(h) Business and association event attraction.

Given the unique nature of this request, Ipswich City Council is open to innovative operating and commercial models.
