Tenders are invited for Provision of Supply and delivery of Road Base, Construction & Pipe Bedding Materials.
The purpose of this tender is to engage an experienced contractor, for the supply and delivery of road base and construction & pipe bedding materials on an as required basis.
Various sizes of aggregate and sand are used as bedding materials for all water and wastewater pipes. The size of the pipe determines the type of material or materials required.
Road base materials are primarily used for backfilling trenches in roadways, headwalls, stabilising loose and soggy ground for laying above-ground pipes and for vehicle and equipment access.
