The City of Ryde (Council) is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the relocation of a Sydney Water main on Pittwater Road Gladesville NSW 2111.

The relocation of the watermain is required in order for the City of Ryde Council to carry out planned upgrade of Pittwater Road. The upgrade works includes installation of a significant stormwater system between # 184 and # 214. Investigations during the design process identified potential clash between the exiting watermain and the proposed stormwater pipes at the portion between # 204 and # 214.The purpose of the watermain relocation is to eliminate any potential clash with the construction of the stormwater system in the near future.

The relocation works are to be carried out in accordance with the requirements of Sydney Water and as directed by the Superintendent and the Water Servicing Coordinator. Warren Smith and Partners have been appointed by the Council's Water Servicing Coordinator to supervise the relocation on behalf of Sydney Water, Council will administer the contract and supervise all works relating to the set-out geometry of the relocation and the restoration of the affected Council assets.

As Pittwater road has a high volume of traffic and classified as Regional Road, Road Occupancy Licence (ROL) from The Transport Management Centre (TMC) mayl be required and night works may be required.

Contractors must be able to demonstrate that they are on the pre-qualified W1 Water Reticulation DN 100-375 Sydney Water Pre Qualified List of Providers Constructors.
