Supervision of Flood Damage Works

⁠⁠⁠This contract is for supervision (on behalf of the Superintendent) of contractors undertaking of road flood damage repairs on various roads within the Shire of Wiluna WA. The Superintendent's Contract Supervisors are to be the "eyes and ears" of the Superintendent (the Chief Executive Officer of the Shire through the Executive Manager Technical Services).

The event (AGRN. 743) which caused widespread damage throughout the Shire occurred in January and February 2017 and the resulting damage in the Shire of Wiluna was assessed in March 2017, with follow-up work in September 2017, and documented. The Shire has secured $10.9M external funding under the Governments WANDRRA natural disaster & recovery arrangements relief fund and reinstatement works are required to be completed in accordance with the conditions of the funding agreement particularly with respect to the finished standard of repaired roads.

The works associated with this contract are expected to commence in March 2018 and are to be completed within a 12 month period.
