Tender Description
Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the upgrade cricket nets at Bellbird Park Recreation Reserve in Drouin. The works involve the supply of all necessary labour, plant, equipment, materials and expertise for the expansion and upgrade of the existing cricket nets from three batting cages to five.
This tender comprises of four schedules as follows:
* Schedule A: Demolition and Concrete Works: all works involved in the demolition and removal of the existing fence and old cricket pitches, expansion of cricket net area and installation of fence posts.
* Schedule B: Fencing: all works involved in the construction of the fence (fence posts excluded) including gates and rubber matting where required.
* Schedule C: Cricket Nets: all works involved in the installation of roof and pitch netting.
* Schedule D: Incidental Works: all works involved in the supply of power and installation of a synthetic cricket pitch.
Council may, at its discretion, award one, multiple or all schedules to a single or multiple contractors depending on the benefit to Council in doing so. Tenderers may at their discretion only provide prices for the schedules in which they wish to complete, these schedules must be completed in full, i.e. a tenderer may only want to complete the fencing items and therefore should only complete Schedule B.
