Supply/Install Airconditioning Recreation Centre Fitness Area

⁠⁠⁠The Shire of East Pilbara operates and maintains the weight, cardio and circuits rooms within the existing Newman Recreation Centre.

The air-conditioning system is inefficient for the application and as such an independent assessment has been completed and the recommendations will form the basis of this scope of works.

The airconditioning works covered by this Contract, is comprised of, but not limited to:-
Weights Room
Retain the existing ducted system and supply and install a new outside air make-up unit of adequate capacity to service the existing weights room ducted system. (See Appendix 6.4 for typical outside air fan arrangement)
Carry out all repairs and maintenance as necessary to ensure correct functioning of this system.
Upgrade the toilet exhaust system to provide adequate relief air from the air conditioned areas. The specifications including flow rates are to be supplied and approved prior to installation.

Cardio Room
Remove, dispose and make good the existing air-conditioning units serving the Cardio room.
Supply and install 1 off Daikin Model FCQ140/RZQ160 ceiling mounted cassette unit with 120 l/s outside air supply system. (See Appendix 6.4 for typical cassette and outside air fan arrangement).

Circuit Room
Remove, dispose and make good the existing air-conditioning units serving the circuit room.
Supply and install 2 off Daikin Model FCQ140/RZQ160 ceiling mounted cassette units each with a 120 l/s outside air supply system.

General
Ensure all works are completed, balanced, commissioned and compliant in accordance with AS 1668.2

All works are completed in accordance with the National Construction Code.

Safety maintenance and testing of appliances wherein all testing is carried out in accordance with AS3666 (as amended from time to time.
