Gar Farmlands Banding Program FY 17/18

⁠⁠⁠We are inviting the supplier to submit a bid for the provision of works described in the following abbreviated description of the Contract requirements. In the Goldfields and Agricultural Region, Water Corporation carries out routine maintenance known as “Banding” on our water pipelines. This is the welding of steel patches over identified potential pipeline failure points, thus minimising the risk of bursts. This program was created in order to extend the total asset life of the steel water mains in the Agricultural/Farmlands areas after prioritising sections based on historical pipe burst failure data.

The Principal has the right to reduce the scope of Services where it sees fit, by awarding partial works to various suppliers. Supplier’s prices shall be priced as individual items and not be based on the full unconditional Contract being awarded.

The Bid Documents may be accessed on 3 January 2018 by companies registered as Water Corporation suppliers or bidders via the Supplier portal.

It is mandatory that all bidders are granted Water Corporation Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Prequalification, at the level nominated in the bid invitation, before contract award.
