Request for Proposal: National Persimmon Varietal Evaluation Program

⁠⁠⁠Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: National persimmon varietal evaluation program (PR17000).

The objectives of the services being sought are:
* Negotiate access to new persimmon varieties and rootstocks from overseas partners with potential for the Australian industry
* Quantify the performance of new varieties and rootstocks including Rojo Brilliante, and evaluate suitability for the Australian industry
* Carry out a true to type verification of existing Rojo Brilliante in Australia
* Develop a new standard clonal propagation technique for persimmon rootstocks to improve tree uniformity and performance such as controlled vigour and size.
