Tender Description
1. The scope of work included in this Request for Offer is to supply and install a wire rope safety barrier system including end terminals on Tweed Valley Way.
2. The proposed safety barrier system will extend for 820m along Tweed Valley Way, between Riverside Drive North & South, as per the attached drawings.
3. The proposed works are to be carried out as per RMS R132 Specification for Safety Barrier System, Tweed Shire Council standard specifications and this Contract. All road safety barrier products shall be accepted by Roads and Maritime Services for use on the New South Wales classified road network. Products which have been accepted are listed on the RMS internet page: http://www.rms.nsw.gov.au/business-industry/partners-suppliers/approved-products-materials/safety-barriers/permanent.html. 4. The proposed works are expected to be carried out under one establishment / de-stablishment
5. Traffic control is to be provided by the successful bidder.
6. The proposed pavement widening including pavement construction, sealing, linemarking and signage will be carried out by Tweed Shire Council and others, and is not part of this contract.
