1.1 Objectives of Council
This tender is for the supply and installation within the Canterbury Bankstown LGA. Council will appoint one contractor or a panel of contractors for the delivery, supply and installation of traffic signs and posts.

Canterbury Bankstown Council is seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Respondents to undertake the delivery, supply and installation of traffic signs and posts within the Canterbury-Bankstown LGA. Also required will be the delivery of signs and posts into the stores at Anzac Street, Bransgrove Road and Leslie Street depots.

1.2 Description of Products and Services
Works under this Contract generally include:
(1) Supply of new traffic signs and posts such as, Stop signs, Give Way signs, Keep Left signs, etc.
(2) Supply and installation of new traffic signs and posts such as, Stop signs, Give Way signs, Keep Left signs, etc.
(3) Installation of emergency works as required.
(4) Re-instate existing pole and sign.
(5) Supply of Council street name blades.
(6) Supply and installation of new traffic signs onto existing posts.
(7) Installation of signs using banding per brackets.
(8) Other items such supply and installation of V-locs, refuge island bollards etc.
(9) Supply and installation of anti-graffiti solution on new signs.
(10) Supply and install signs and posts listed in the bill of quantities.
(11) Cleaning of signs.
(12) Provide a TCP when required.
(13) The Contractor shall demonstrate a capacity of resources to ensure delivery of required service.
(14) All signs and Traffic equipment are to be supplied in accordance with relevant Australian Standards or RMS standards where applicable.
(15) The basket of goods is by no means exhaustive and product requirements will extend beyond the specified basket of goods.
(16) Tenderers are required to provide specific prices for the items included in the basket of goods.
(17) The works included in the Contract comprise the supply of materials, plant and labour necessary for the complete and proper undertaking of the works as specified and directed under the supervision of the Superintendent or his representative.
