This Contract is for the provision of services for the decommissioning of underground petroleum storage systems provided to Muswellbrook Shire Council to enable the land to be suitable for continued commercial use as per SafeWork NSW.

These services will include the decommissioning of two unused underground fuel tanks located at Muswellbrook Shire Council Works Depot in accordance with SafeWork NSW, Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) and Australian Standard 4976-2008 and guidelines as well as the remedial works for complete removal of UPSS infrastructure and disposal of hydrocarbon impacted soil to a suitably licensed facility. A thorough assessment and/or validation of the residual profile of the site will also need to be carried out once the tanks are removed.

This is a lump sum contract. In addition to the submission of completed requirements, the scope of services to be provided by the service provider shall be as detailed in the attached Decommissioning Services Specification.
