The Fred Hollows Foundation is a secular, non-profit organisation based in Australia and operating in more than 20 countries across the Pacific, South and South East Asia, and Africa. The Foundation works for a world in which no person is needlessly blind and Indigenous Australians exercise their right to good health.
The Foundation has worked in Vietnam since 1992, contributing to establishment of comprehensive eye care services in 21 provinces. The Vietnam program is now seeking to position itself as a centre of learning about eye health program management for the organisation. At this time, the Foundation plans to conduct an evaluation of the Comprehensive Eye Care model that formed the basis of several projects in Vietnam over the period 2003-2016, in order to consolidate and communicate learnings about what worked, where and why to inform future programming choices and designs across the organisation.
Expressions of interest are invited from interested evaluators to undertake the evaluation, as outlined in the attached Terms of Reference, to pleemen@hollows.org by 15 December 2017.
