Flu Vaccination Program

⁠⁠⁠Energy Queensland is calling for experienced organisations to tender for the provision of influenza vaccinations for employees based in various locations across the state. The program includes the provision of onsite clinics at specified Energy Queensland locations, individual Energy Queensland employee vaccinations at the Consultant’s offices (if appropriate) and transport of vaccines to employees based in remote locations. The successful Consultant must demonstrate their ability to service a geographically dispersed organisation.

The scope of work is for the provision of Energy Queensland’s influenza (flu) vaccination program, including onsite voluntary flu vaccinations, vaccinations at Consultants offices (if appropriate) and transport of vaccines to remote locations in accordance with the “Scope of Work” Document.

The Consultant shall undertake the provision of onsite voluntary influenza vaccinations at nominated Energy Queensland locations between the months of March and June (preferably May), commencing as soon as possible after the release of the current year’s vaccine.

Vaccinations shall be conducted by an Immunisation Program Nurse or an Authorised Immunisation Nurse with current Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority (AHPRA) certification.

The Consultant must provide the vaccine to be administered. The vaccine administered must be released for the year the program is to be delivered and be registered for use with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). The Consultant shall adhere to a cold chain process as approved by Energy Queensland.

The site of Contract is various locations across the State of Queensland (refer to Appendix A of the Scope of Work Document).

The Contract will commence on 14 February 2018 and the practical completion date for all work associated with this Contract will be 13 February 2020. Energy Queensland has allowed for one (1) contract extension option of one (1) year duration. In any case, Energy Queensland will at its sole discretion determine if the Contractor is to be offered an extension during the life of the Contract.
