18022 - Maranoa Regional Council will be undertaking the upgrade of Injune Taroom & Bonnydoon Road to meet future predicted traffic demands. The Injune Taroom & Bonnydoon Road upgrade projects are estimated to commence in February 2018. The construction phase is projected to last for ten (10) months and will bring both Council employees and its contractors to the Injune region.

This tender is requesting offers for accommodating and catering for Council’s project workforce within the Injune region during the construction phase of the project.

It is envisaged that the project will require accommodation and catering for an estimated 40 - 60 permanent workers, for the duration of the projects. The room demand may vary fortnightly depending on the project requirements and unforeseen circumstances, e.g. inclement weather. Council intends to work an 11 day fortnight, therefore requiring 10 consecutive nights’ accommodation per cycle (Monday night week 1 through to and including Wednesday night week 2).

Council is seeking offers from suitable businesses to accommodate and cater for Council’s project workforce. Tenderers are advised that there is a possibility that the project funding party may direct the workforce to be accommodated at a workers' camp located in the vicinity of the projects. Council may elect to decline any or all Tenders obtained.
