Post-Construction Ecological Monitoring Princes Highway Upgrade, Foxground & Berry Bypass

Roads and Maritime Services has recently upgraded the Princes Highway between Toolijooa Road at Foxground to Muller Lane, south of Berry. Environmental approval for this project was received in July 2013. As part of the project approval, Roads and Maritime is required to prepare and implement an Ecological Monitoring Program (EcMP) which includes a minimum of three years of post-construction ecological monitoring and reporting.

An ecological monitoring program was prepared in September 2014 and this program has been implemented during construction. As work on the Foxground and Berry bypass is nearing completion, Roads and Maritime are seeking to engage a suitably qualified professional services contractor to implement the post-construction ecological monitoring and reporting requirements.

Tenders are invited for:
* Undertaking three years of post-construction ecological monitoring on the Foxground and Berry Bypass, in accordance with the Ecological Monitoring Program.
* Preparation of three annual monitoring reports between 2018 and 2020.
* Preparation of a Final Foxground and Berry Bypass Post-Construction Ecological Monitoring Report determining the effectiveness of the biodiversity mitigation measures implemented as part of the project.

All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government’s Code of Practice for Procurement.
