BSC T2017/18-4 - Boulia Shire Council is inviting tenders for the Panel of Pre-qaulified Suppliers for Plant Hire and Trade Services.
Category 1 - Plant Hire:
This Tender is a period hire rate Tender for the hire of plant if required for jobs in remote areas as and when required.
The plant will be required to work on road construction and maintenance in the Boulia Shire under the direction of the Consultant Works Overseer, and/or Council Foreman/ authorised officer.
Category 2 - Trade Services:
This tender is a period hourly rate for Trade Service works as required. Trades will be required to work on a variety of Council buildings or sites under the direction the Consultant Works Overseer, and/or Council Foreman/ authorised officer.
Hourly rates are sought for Trade Services for the following categories:
- Air-Conditioning – Repairs, maintenance and installation, of E.G. Room Air Conditioners (RAC’s), Split’s, Packages, Chillers, Air Handling Units (AHU’s), Cooling Towers, Exhaust and Ventilation Systems; See also BMS.
- Carpenters – Repairs, alterations, maintenance, construction works
- Cleaning Internal - Window cleaning, blind cleaning, walls/ceilings;
- Cleaning External - Building, graffiti removal, gutter cleaning;
- Data and Communications – Cat 5/6 cabling, Fibre Optic cabling, telephone;
- Electrical General – General Electrical Works;
- Electrical Testing – Testing of electrical installations and equipment: Residual Current Devices, Test and Tag, Thermoscan, Electronic System Management, Testing and Calibration
- Fencing - Metal and Timber; Construction, Repairs and Maintenance, Temporary;
- Flooring – lay/repair/alterations of vinyl, ceramic tiles,
- Metal Fabrication and Welding - general requirements, metal pre-finishing, metal coating, structural steel, light steel framing, roofing, cladding, doors and hatches, partitions, metal fixtures,
- Painting – General;
- Pest Control – Internal and external pest treatments, vermin, snake removal;
- Plumbing – Repairs, Maintenance and Installation of general plumbing works, drainage Irrigation, Gas Fitting, hot water systems, air-lines
- Refrigeration – Ice Machines, fridges, freezers, cold rooms; See also Air-Conditioning.
- Concreting Works - Supply only, or Form, pour and finish.
- Mechanic Auto Electrical: repairs to electrical systems on Machinery and light vehicles + vehicle Air-conditioning repairs.
- Survey Services
- IT Services – including telephony, computer and data. Hardware and software
Suppliers are requested to submit their tender for two categories: Plant Hire and Trade Services. Suppliers may submit to one or both categories. The Panel of Pre-qualified suppliers will be valid for works between 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2018. Option to extend 12 months.
A tenderer information session is scheduled for Wednesday 15 November 2017 from 8:30am at the Boulia Shire Council Office.
