Byron Shire Council has an in-house legal team consisting of two practicing solicitors and a support officer. Council requires access to suitably qualified legal service providers to supplement and provide advice to the in-house legal team. The legal services providers must specialise in, or have extensive experience with legal matters associated with the running of a multi-purpose Council which includes water and sewer authority services.
Byron Shire Council is seeking tenders from Australian Legal Practitioners or Firms to form a panel of legal services providers and provide a range of legal services to Council. Byron Shire Council invites you to apply for this role.
The Contract term is three years subject to satisfactory performance by the successful Tenderer(s), which will be determined by Byron Shire Council. There will be two extension options of twelve months each. The decision to offer a contract extension to any of the panel of providers will be at Council’s sole discretion.
