RFT 2017/08 Security Services

⁠⁠⁠MWRC (the Principal) is seeking professional organisations that can provide a high standard of capability in the delivery of Security Services for Mid-Western Regional Council.

The answers to the questions form this meeting are as below.

Q: Ulan Road Cemetery - In the breakdown cost it states ‘Close Only’ however the Premises Schedule refers to Open/Close. Paul responded that he has had conversations with the cleaner about opening the gates as part of the Cleaning process.
A: The Cleaner has been engaged to open both of the gates at the Ulan Road Cemetery, in this instance the tender should only include the locking of both of the gates at the require time.

Q: Glen Willow Sporting Complex - Please confirm if gates at Soccer Touch Amenities are to be opened on Sat/Sun or whether sporting clubs will open.
A: The vehicular and pedestrian gates to the Net ball and dog off leash area are the only ones to be opened and locked at this site. All other gates are not to be unlocked and locked on the weekends as asked.

Q: Victoria Park, Mudgee - States toilets and gates. Paul Confirmed gates only to be opened as part of tender.
A: The western and Northern gates are to be included and not the toilets.

Q: Mudgee Pool - Tender states Mon-Fri, however currently do Mon, Wed, Fri.
A:The cash in Transit for the Mudgee Pool is to be only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday not Monday-Friday as stated.

Q: Regarding the time frame window of opening and closing gates, window seems to be shortened by 15 minutes, which would make it difficult for a 1 man operation to meet time frames. 1.5 hours would be more beneficial.
A: Historically Councils Buildings and sites have always been unlocked or locked at around Dawn or Dusk, in this instance Council is happy for the time period for this process to be extended to 90 minutes as requested.
