Tender Description
Demolish and rebuild the moorings at Point Road, Tuncurry, NSW in accordance with the drawings and design documentation.
The existing timber moorings are currently dilapidated and in need of replacement.
In accordance with design drawings and technical specification the contractor will be required to demolish and replace the 18 existing catwalk structures and associated piles. It is proposed to replace the moorings with timber piles and steel framed catwalks. All work shall be carried out by appropriately licensed personnel in such a manner as to ensure the protection of the environment and safe public use of Wallis Lake and must comply with the criteria and all controls as nominated in the specification and detailed in the Review of Environmental Factors.
Due to funding restrictions the works are to be staged over the 17/18 and 18/19 financial years.
A mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held at the site at 10am on Thursday 2 November 2017.
