The Lhere Artepe Aboriginal Corporation Board is seeking expressions of interest for the services of a consultant to assess and then advise the corporation’s Board it on its planning, improving the constitution and potential future directions of the Corporation which represents the Native tile lands of the Central Arrernte people. This includes land use and the potential for new arrangements on land use.

The Corporation seeks to ensure it is representative of and capable of engaging with Native tile members and structured to respond to external stakeholders.

The Corporation is also looking to review its commercial operations and assess opportunities for improvement of the existing investments and new commercial operations.

The Corporation’s Board seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified consultants, who have a demonstrated level of experience in strategic and management assessment and planning as well as advising on corporate constitutions and commercial advising on legal structures and improving commercial corporations.

The work may be broken into component parts so the expressions of interest will form the basis of working with a consultant to firm up the extent of work to be undertaken and improvement measures management will need to implement.

The Board will give some weighting to qualified and experienced Aboriginal consultants.

The Board seeks expressions of interest outlining the following:
* Relevant experience and qualifications in management advising, strategic planning and constitutional reform, native title legislative provisions as well as commercial advising.
* Details of experience in working with an Aboriginal Board,
* ABN and other business details,
* Remuneration rates on either a daily or job lot basis. This should include details of costs for travel and other incidental items.
