Tender Description

Evaluation of the implementation of the Wild Dog Management Strategy 2011-2016 completed with emphasis on available data, including Local Government Biosecurity Plans, and targeted interviews with representative local governments (in response to Recommendation.

Formulation of SMART KPIs and baseline targets in the Wild Dog Strategy that will be used to assess Biosecurity Queensland’s contribution to wild dog management in the future (in response to Recommendation.

Evaluate progress on key performance indicators and strategic actions that can be evaluated identified in the Queensland Wild Dog Strategy.

Undertake interviews with a cross-section of local government officers, chairs of wild dog committees, biosecurity officers and industry coordinators to evaluate progress on key performance indicators and strategic actions that can be evaluated.

Identify SMART key performance indicators for the revised strategy based on available information and interviews (as above) that will be used to assess Biosecurity Queensland’s contribution to wild dog management in the future.

Review strategic actions under the strategy and identify methods of changing the strategic actions to allow more practical evaluation.

Identify sources of baseline data and methods for collating data on wild dog management, and develop baseline targets that can be used to assess Biosecurity Queensland’s contribution to wild dog management in the future.
