Manufacture, Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Multi-Function Poles
The City of Parramatta Council is proposing the provision of a range of poles with multiple functions capability to service the City and provide the flexibility to respond to future technology changes.
City of Parramatta Council is currently undergoing a major infrastructure and development transformation phase with large scale State Government projects, Council own projects and major private developments either happening or progressing through the initiation, design and construction phases.
As part of this urban renewal, Council is proposing the introduction of a range of multi-function type poles throughout the City and in major town centres in the Parramatta Local Government Area (LGA).
Council seeks to enter into a procurement contract agreement for the co-ordinated manufacture, supply, installation and maintenance of Multi-Function poles in the LGA to allow for the progressive roll out of poles based on Council's developing strategy and capital works program. The maximum period shall be five years made up of an initial three-year Contract with two one-year options for extension.
It is a requirement of this Tender that contractors must have Roads & Maritime Services accreditation to install traffic signals on their poles.
A final decision will be made on this Tender at the end December 2017, with the commencement anticipated early 2018.
