Cairns Regional Council is inviting tenders for the design & construction of water mains at Hall Rd, Dexter Rd, Redbank Rd, Gordonvale & Frenchman Creek Rd to Clyde Rd, Babinda.
Council has identified the need to replace and upgrade the existing water mains along Hall Road, Dexter Road and Redbank Road, Gordonvale and along the Bruce highway between Frenchman Creek Road to Clyde Road, Babinda. This upgrade is to address increasing growth in the area and condition issues associated with the aging asset, ensuring it continues to operate effectively into the future. These works shall involve the installation of 6.5km of 100mm reticulation mains and 1.5km of 300mm trunk mains.
