Tender Description
Active Healthy NQ Grants program aims to improve health outcomes and minimise risk of chronic disease in the Northern Queensland Community.
The grants program provides funding for health promotion and prevention initiatives which aim to change community attitudes and behavior and create environments that support people to make healthier choices.
The grants program will create opportunities to support new mothers and fathers to have access to preconception and antenatal health promotion programs targeting smoking and the use of alcohol and other drugs in pregnancy, which will lead to improved health and wellbeing for mothers, fathers and babies.
