Borehole Drilling and Construction at Injune Town Bore 1

⁠⁠⁠18011 - Maranoa Regional Council invites suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to submit a schedule of rates pricing and supporting documentation for the construction of Injune Town Bore 1. The requirement for an additional bore located in Injune has arisen as result of the failure of the existing Bore 1.

Works to be carried out under this project comprise the drilling, casing, cementing, developing and testing of one (1) town water production bore for the Maranoa Regional Council’s Injune Town Water Supply, using suitable drilling plant and equipment.

All construction works are to:
* Be completed in a competent and professional manner and in compliance with the Tender documents (including this Specification);
* Comply with the Queensland Department of Resource and Mines (DNRM) publication titled Minimum Construction Requirements for Water Bores in Australia (Edition 3 Revision February 2012 ref: ISBN 1 978-0-646-56917-8);
* Comply with the Queensland DNRM publication titled Minimum Standards for the Construction and Reconditioning of Water Bores that Intersect the Sediments of Artesian Basins in Queensland – June 2014; and
* Comply with any other publication and reference material or fact sheet as determined relevant by DNRM.
