Tender Description
The City of Subiaco comprises a population of approximately 17.066 and covers an area of 6 square kilometres with approximately 7950 properties and units offered TWO (2) collections each year for verge bulk waste.
The contractor shall remove from each property all specified waste placed at the kerbside for collection during the time specified in the contract.
We will Remove:
* Furniture
* General Junk
* Timber products
* Stoves, refrigerators with doors removed for safety
* E-waste and electronic items
* Steel and metal items
There is a limit to the quantity of waste equivalent to a 1.8 m x 1.25 m trailer capacity that will be removed.
We will not Remove:
* Garden waste
* Bricks, builder's rubble, sand, cement
* Foodstuffs/household waste including medicines
* Motor vehicles, vehicle parts, tyres and batteries
* Inflammable liquids and other hazardous materials such as paint, oil and gas cylinders
* Asbestos cement products
* Items over 1.5 m in length
