Weddin Shire Council - STP Redevelopment - Concept Design and REF

⁠⁠⁠Weddin Shire Council (WSC) proposes to construct a new STP to service the town of Grenfell. The plant will replace the existing STP which is at the end of its design life. The new plant will be constructed on the adjacent lot 268 north of the existing STP.

Project Objectives
Weddin Shire Council is committed to upgrading Grenfell STP to achieve the following objectives.
Meet contemporary environmental standards.
Maximise the use of recycled water for urban irrigation.
Comply with regulatory requirements.
Construct a modern, safe and efficient treatment plant.
Engagement Objectives
The objective of this engagement is to provide a sound basis for the development of the new Grenfell STP.
The focus is on addressing technical, regulatory and environmental aspects in a coordinated manner to ensure that the new STP is effective, efficient and meets Council's and regulatory requirements.

Review of Environmental Factors (REF).
