Supply and Delivery of Pipes, Valves & Fittings

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited from organisations for the Supply and Delivery of Pipes, Valves and Fittings.

Hunter Water purchases a wide range of pipes, valves and fittings that are essential components in Hunter Waters' water/wastewater infrastructure.

A selection of the most frequently used items are kept in the Corporation's warehouses for use by field staff in maintaining the water/wastewater system.

In addition a limited range of critical spares is held for emergency use e.g. large pipes and valves with lengthy supplier lead-times.

The tender is grouped into the below seven categories many of the items within the seven material groups can be supplied by a common vendor base so in order to reduce the administrative process a consolidated tender will be called rather than separate tenders for each group.

DICL pipes and fittings
PVC pipes and fittings
Valves and accessories
Tapping bands and repair clamps
Gibault joints and couplings
Rings , wrappings and jointing
Metal/Plastic valve/hydrant boxes
Duration of Contract

Three (3) years with the option to extend to four (4) or five (5) years. However additional optional extension years may be proposed based on discounts offered.
