Tender Description
The Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC) is the owner and operator of the RG Tanna Coal Terminal where over 600 vessels are loaded with export coal each year.
As the Terminal Operation, GPC has obligations under the Code of Practice for the Safe Loading and Unloading of Bulk Carriers (BLU Code) and Marine Orders.
In consultation with Coal Customers, GPC has sought and been granted approval for the engagement of a specialised service provider to assist GPC in fulfilling these obligations.
GPC currently has a contract in place with a service provider which expires in 2017.
Given current market conditions, GPC is seeking improved value and efficiency under a new contract for Load Master Services.
