Tender Description
Addressing the dual challenges of anthropogenic climate change and Australia’s aging population, Breathe will become Australia’s first net zero carbon aged care neighbourhood.
Breathe aims to become the template for low carbon communities, and demonstrate the application of a renewable energy micro-grid in a cost effective and responsible manner, demonstrating the potential for future investment into South Australia’s renewable energy assets.
Breathe will be a 40-residence, Environmentally-Smart neighbourhood at Tumby Bay, designed for people who are not ready to lose their independence.
Submissions are invited from interested parties and consortiums for the design and construction of prefabricated dwellings. Closing date Fri 15th Sept 2017
Suppliers who submit an EOI in response to this request may be shortlisted and may be invited to participate in separate limited tender processes.
