Tender Description
Tweed Shire Council (Principal) seeks to engage a suitably qualified and experienced company (Provider) to wet hire a Vacuum Excavation Combination Truck for a two year period with the option for a further twelve (12) month extension period at Council’s discretion.
The Provider shall dedicate the Vacuum Excavation Combination Truck (plant) with an Operator on a full time basis to meet the service levels specified. The plant and the Operator shall be based within Tweed Shire Council boundary in order to meet the required after hours response time. The plant will be utilised for routine maintenance, repairs and mobilising to after hours emergency call outs.
The Principals Representative will provide active supervision and direction to the plant Operator.
The Principal will provide a suitable person to assist the plant Operator operate the Vacuum Excavation Combination Truck on an as required basis. The Principals Assistant will be rotated depending on the work location and the after hours rostering arrangements.
