DFAT seeks to engage an independent assurance advisor to assist with the ongoing assurance oversight of the Australian Passport Office project portfolio.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) seek to engage an independent assurance advisor to assist with the ongoing assurance oversight of the Australian Passport Office (APO) project portfolio.
The services sought include:
* Provide advice and guidance to the APO Sponsor Group and relevant project governance boards, regarding the delivery of the APO’s strategic project portfolio.
* Assess and advise on strategic implications of key decisions for the APO.
* Monitor and advise on progress of the APO projects and technology solutions.
* Monitor progress on the delivery of expected benefits (business assurance) and that user requirements are being met (user assurance).
* Report regularly to the Executive Director APO (First Assistant Secretary), Deputy Secretary, and Sponsor Group regarding issues of concern.
* Provide specific assurance activities as requested by the Executive Director APO and/or Deputy Secretary on an ad-hoc basis.
