1617-043 - Cassowary Coast Regional Council (Council) seeks Tenders for Tully Landfill Capping of Cells one and two - Stage 2.
This project consist of the reshaping of Cell one at the Tully landfill and the instillation of leachate control systems, clay capping and stormwater systems. The project does not include the installation of any geosynthetics capping layer, gas management systems or reshaping and capping of Cell two.
The works are to be carried in the 2017 dry season with the bulk of works to be completed before the onset of the 17/18 wet season.
Major risks for this project include:
* Significant Rain Delays
* Offsite discharge of leachate
* Disturbance of Asbestos material
* Uncovering of large objects requiring additional work to remove
