Quotation for: Shop Orange Region Promotional Campaign

⁠⁠⁠Council is seeking quotations from suitably experienced parties to undertake the promotion and marketing of the Shop Orange Region Program from 7 August 2017 to 25 June 2018.

The Shop Orange Region Program is designed to:
* Encourage local spending
* Keep money in the community which circulates through the local economy to provide jobs and wealth for locals
* Be a great gift solution, quick and easy to organise, especially for last minute gifts.
* Increase businesses opportunity to make sales
* Help businesses who do not have a gift card in place,
* Ability to collect monthly statistics on the level of spend in the Orange regional community.

The Shop Orange Region gift card is an eftpos based card which can be used to purchase goods and services in any participating local store. When a customer purchases a card they decide how much money to load onto the card and this money can then be used by the card holder to purchase goods they desire. The cards cannot be redeemed outside of the participating store network. The Shop Orange Region gift card is commissioned through Why Leave Town Promotions.

Current, 56 businesses are registered with the program and over $20,000 has been captured in the local economy.
