Expression of Interest: AvGas Self-Servicing Pump Station at the Airport

⁠⁠⁠Council is investigating the potential for providing a self-servicing AvGas pump station at the Kangaroo Island (Kingscote) airport.

It is envisaged that AvGas be available from a self-servicing fuel station located adjacent to the General Aviation parking area, with fuel management by a third party specialist fuel supplier, and access by credit card. This could be used by anyone who owns their own aircraft and currently needs to refuel on the mainland. Note: owner provided drum refilling would not be available.

Subject to interest for the AvGas, Council will complete a cost analysis before making a decision if to proceed.
