Mossman Water Treatment Plant Backwash Recovery Filter Plant

⁠⁠⁠2018-013 - Invitation to Tender Overview
Douglas Shire Council has identified the need for the Design and Construction of a new Backwash Recovery system at the Mossman Water Treatment Plant. The Backwash Recovery system shall consist of a Dual Media Pressure Filter plant and associated equipment. The Filter Plant shall have a capacity to filter backwash water. The Filter Plant shall be operated 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

The proposed Backwash Recovery Filter Plant is to be constructed on the Mossman Water Treatment Plant site (Gorge View Crescent, Mossman, QLD) as shown on the drawings.

The Scope of Works
All the work to be carried out by the Contractor under this Contract shall be in relation to the Backwash Recovery Filter Plant as described in the specification.

* This document represents the release of the Tender to the market;
* It is Mandatory for Suppliers to attend the briefing session (11:00am, Wednesday, 26 July 2017, Mossman)
* Tenders will only be accepted until the tender box closes at 2:00 pm on the 16 August 2017.
* You must only submit your Offer via the LG tender box e-Tendering website: www.lgtenderbox.com.au.
* Evaluation of Tenders will be conducted against predetermined evaluation criteria and within Council’s governance and probity framework; Council may accept none, one or more of the Tenders submitted.
* Late submissions or submissions not lodged as prescribed in this tender document will not be accepted.
