For the Provision of a Live Cell Imaging System

⁠⁠⁠The purpose of this Invitation is to obtain competitive offers from suppliers who can supply, deliver, install, provide user training and maintain a live cell imaging system for The University of Queensland’s Centre for Clinical Research (UQCCR).

A live cell imaging system that meets the specifications will provide UQCCR with nationally unique research capabilities that will support research programs in cancer and fertility for the foreseeable future. Data generated using the existing facility has contributed to 17 peer reviewed publications, numerous RHD theses, and been presented at a large number of conferences. Several currently funded research projects rely upon live cell imaging data, and the specified capabilities underpin numerous projects.

The scope of the purchase encompasses:
* The provision of a live cell imaging system (or multiple systems if required to meet the specifications) able to be installed into an existing tissue culture incubator, or with integral culture environment control systems.
* Provision of a suite of suitable accessories to enable analysis of cells grown in tissue culture flasks of various sizes as well as microtitre plates
* Provision of suitable data storage to allow automated collection of image and metadata during multi-week experiments by multiple simultaneous users.
* Provision of software to control the live cell imager as well as to facilitate a range of analyses as described in the specifications. Information regarding the hardware requirements of the software will allow the client to provide a suitable PC.
* Delivery and installation of the live cell imaging system, including IQ/OQ documentation.
* A minimum 12 month warranty on parts and installation.
* On-site training for up to 6 users, including 2 floor managers as system administrators
