Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for the supply, installation and commissioning of Traffic Signals and associated concrete works such as kerb ramps, footpath sections, asphalt etc. on The River Road at Bransgrove Road intersection, Revesby.

The River Road is classified as a State Road. Traffic signal installation and civil construction works will involve closure of lanes. Road Occupancy Licence (ROL) is required for the lane closure from Roads and Maritime Services (RMS).

Due to the large volume of traffic during peak hours, RMS is likely to restrict the hours of road closure during the day. Night work may be permissible provided noise level is restricted below 40dBA between 8 PM and 7 AM - Refer Department of Environment and Climate Change 2009 Acts (DECC) - POEO 1997/POEO Noise Control 2008.

Tenderers must provide shift works outside normal working hours, if any, in the Work Methodology and Project Plan to adhere to DECC Acts and time limits allowed in RMS ROL.

The signal contractor must meet RMS requirements for Work Health and Safety, and must be prequalified to carry out works under RMS new prequalification scheme for Construction Industry Contractors. All works are to be completed on or before 24th November 2017.
