RFT201705 - Kangaroo Island Council is seeking the services from a qualified builder to supply a fixed Tender price for the construction of a replacement set of stairs to the Prospect Hill Lookout on Kangaroo Island and a separate price to replace the stairs at Pennington Bay to access the western beach.
The aim of the project is to replace the existing damaged timber stairs with a new set of FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) stairs as per the design drawings provided with this Tender Document. A separate price is also requested to replace the existing set of stairs to Pennington Bay. No design has been provided for the Pennington Bay section of the works but it envisaged that a similar design (to that provided for the Prospect Hill Stairs) will be used at a lower height to match the existing stairs in this location.
