Request for Proposal for the Rights to Operate Regulated Regular Public Transport Air Services to Carnarvon / Leonora / Laverton / Meekatharra / Monkey Mia / Mt Magnet / Wiluna

⁠⁠⁠This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks Proposals from suitable airlines to provide a direct or indirect Regulated Regular Public Transport (RPT) air service between Perth and the following:
(i) Both Destinations of Carnarvon and Monkey Mia (Shark Bay); and
(ii) All the Northern Goldfields Destinations of Leonora, Laverton, Meekatharra, Mount Magnet and Wiluna.

Conforming Proposals must demonstrate that the Proponent will:
A. Use an aircraft capable of carrying 30 passengers or more for the Destinations of Carnarvon and Monkey Mia;
B. Use an aircraft capable of carrying 19 passengers or more to the Destinations of Laverton, Leonora, Meekatharra, Mount Magnet and Wiluna; and
C. Provide the services without a State Government subsidy.

It is a prerequisite that the Proponent demonstrates that at the Closing Time for Proposals, it holds a current Air Operator’s Certificate from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority which has provision to allow Regular Public Transport services.
