Orange City Council is proposing to construct a new bridge with pedestrian access over the Broken Hill rail line, located on Forest Road and Peisley Street approximately two (2) kilometers south of Orange.

The proposal would provide a new single lane bridge for southbound vehicles with the existing bridge being retained and used as a single lane for northbound vehicles. The proposal is required to allow B-Doubles southern access to the Orange Central Business District.

A mandatory site meeting will be held on the Wednesday 12 July 2017 commencing 11 am at the Orange Civic Centre and Tenderers will need to RSVP to Council by Monday 10 July.
