HW10 Pacific Highway Upgrade, Woolgoolga to Ballina - Koala Monitoring

⁠⁠⁠Suitably qualified companies are invited to tender for the monitoring of Koalas in accordance with an approved Koala Management Plan for the Woolgoolga to Ballina upgrade. Monitoring will involve direct count surveys, fauna crossing monitoring, road mortality monitoring, Koala revegetation monitoring as well as faecal pellet sampling. The scope of work also includes some provisional items for DNA analysis and innovation for Koala monitoring techniques.

Monitoring will involve work across the full length of the upgrade from Woolgoolga to Ballina for a total term of 8 years.

The NSW Government’s Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code) and the NSW Government’s Implementation Guidelines to the NSW Code of Practice for Procurement for Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines) apply to this project.

Compliance with the NSW Code and NSW Guidelines is a pre-requisite to submitting any response to a procurement process (expression of interest or tender response) and to any successful application being awarded. This is a joint Australian and NSW government funded project.
