Expression of Interest for McLean Park, Napier Re-turfing Civil Works Contractor

⁠⁠⁠Napier City Council wish to install new all-weather Motz Eclipse Stabilised Natural Turf at Mclean Park, Napier.

Expression of interest is requested from experienced contractors for the civil works sub-contract with HG Sports Turf (AU) Pty Ltd who are the main contractor and will supply and install the turf.

The civil works sub-contract includes:

* Remove existing turf and substrate (approx. 7,200 m3), drainage, irrigation and dispose off-site.
* Install sensors and new irrigation system.
* Install new drainage system.
* Prepare subgrade and import and shape sub-turf profile including gravel and sand layer.
* Install foundations for drop-in cricket tray.
* Communications and power ducts and cabling, goal posts footings and other necessary infrastructure.

Work is programmed to commence on site W/C 2nd October 2017, and be completed by 8 December 2017.
