Lighting Upgrade to Kingborough Sports Centre

⁠⁠⁠Kingborough Council is looking to upgrade its current lighting infrastructure within its Kingborough sports centre facility. It is proposed to do this in stages with this initial request for quote relating to the gymnastics area of the building. This area is leased from Council by the Kingborough Gymnastic Association, who operate the facility on a daily basis. The upgrades required relate to the office areas and the gymnastics hall.

The building currently has a mix of fluorescent and metal halide lights, consisting of.
16 suspended High bay fittings installed in banks of two with 8 control switches, lighting an approximate gymnasium area of 33m x 43m with an 10m to 12m roof height)
46 x twin 28w fluorescent lights general administration and change rooms
2 x twin 14w fluorescent lights change rooms
5 x low voltage down lights reception counter

Kingborough Council is considering a migration to energy efficient LED lighting technology and is seeking Tender proposals from suitably qualified companies to upgrade the lighting throughout the building on a design and construct basis.
