Tender Description
Roads and Maritime Services wishes to advise it’s industry partners that applications for registration of interest will be invited to undertake the construction of the Princes Highway upgrade between Berry and Bomaderry.
The project involves the upgrading of the A1 Princes Highway between Mullers Lane, Berry and Cambewarra Road, Bomaderry. The upgraded highway will have a minimum of two lanes in each direction separated by a median. The project involves the construction of 14 bridge sized structures, including two overpasses with weathering steel superstructures.
To be considered for the upcoming registration of interest, contractors must be a member of Roads and Maritime Services’ Register of Prequalified Contractors with F100 (Financial) or higher and R5 (Roadworks) prequalification levels. Contractors or subcontractors undertaking the bridge works component must have B4 (Bridgeworks) prequalification levels.
A shortlist of applicants will be selected from the registration of interest and will be invited to submit tenders for the construction of the project.
Applicants must comply with the New South Wales Government's Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code) and the New South Wales Government's Implementation Guidelines to the New South Wales Code of Practice for Procurement: Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines).
Registration of interest documents will become available in the upcoming weeks via the NSW ETendering web site.
