Provision of Security Services

Council is seeking interest parties to tender for the provision of Security Services for Council facilities in Charters Towers, Queensland.

The Contractor is required to:
(a) Perform nightly security checks to various Council premises as detailed in the these clauses.
(b) Report any security breaches or unlocked doors or locks to the after hours contact for that site, where necessary (i.e. if door or lock cannot be secured), to determine remedial action.
(c) Report incidences as outlined in paragraph (b) to the Council (for the attention of the Facilities Officer) on the next business day.
(d) Provide a daily report including any incidents to the Council (for the attention of the Facilities Officer) outlining performance over preceding day/s, on the next business day.
(e) Provide visual indication the premise has been security checked.
(f) Provide a Security Service in the event of an intruder alarm activation at the Administration Centre, 12-14 Mosman Street.
(g) Provide a Security Service, as requested, in the event of a Fire Alarm Activation at the Administration Centre, Excelsior Library, Visitor Information Centre and the World Theatre.
