Disposal of Council Vehicle - 2015 Land Rover Defender 110

⁠⁠⁠PSC 2016-17-11 - Sale of ex-council vehicle via tender process. This tender will also accept external tenders, not only ones via LG Tender Box.

Collection & Payment for Vehicles
Collection of vehicle shall be arranged to allow handing over in the normal Council working hours, i.e. Monday-Friday 7.00am - 4.00pm.

The collection of a vehicle indicates full acceptance of the vehicle and no warranty is implied or given.

Payment is required prior to taking possession of the vehicle.

Council will issue a written acceptance to the person making a successful offer, upon which a ten percent (10%) deposit is payable by that person.

Council will issue a tax invoice to the successful person for the amount offered.

Registration
The vehicle will be registered prior and cancelled on the day of sale.

Any person purchasing a vehicle is responsible for registration of the vehicle.

Price Information
The offeror acknowledges that it is a second hand vehicle and is to be purchased in an “as is” condition and is sold without warranty. The Offeror should make their own enquires as to the suitability and condition of the vehicle.

Prices submitted for vehicle shall take into account that:-
* Vehicle offers may not necessarily be accepted.
* Council will continue to utilise the vehicles in its day to day operations.
* During this time, all scheduled services and other maintenance work will be carried out.
* Vehicles registrations will be cancelled on the day of collection.
