Kalumburu Road Capital Works Upgrade

⁠⁠⁠The Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley invites tenders from suitable experienced contractors for capital upgrade works on Kalumburu Road.

The Kalumburu Road Capital Upgrade Works Contract will consist of ONE of the following three Separable Portions, subject to funds allocated in the adopted 2016 - 17 annual budget.

1. Separable Portion 1: Re-sheeting multiples of 250 meter longitudinal sections on Kalumburu Road including the delivery and placement of road base road

base material from Shire borrow pits nominated by the Principal.

2. Separable Portion 2: Modification of a 130 metre long vertical curve section between SLK 106.670 to 106.800 on Kalumburu Road.

3. Separable Portion 3: Re-sheeting multiples of 250 meter longitudinal sections on Kalumburu Road including the delivery and placement of road base material from Shire borrow pits nominated by the Principal and modification of a 130 metre long vertical curve section between SLK 106.670 to 106.800 on Kalumburu Road.

The schedule of Works is not necessarily the final Works list to be performed under the Contract and is expected to be amended as necessary to accommodate the Principal’s budget. The Principal’s budget for all of the Works is expected to be in the range of $200,000 - $400,000 at this time although this may change. A Contract will be awarded for either Separable Portion 1, Separable Portion 2 or Separable Portion 3.

Clarification of tender details must be in writing and sought via the Shire’s VendorPanel website, prior to 2:00pm, Thursday 8 June 2017.
