Sale of Land to Develop Serviced Apartments, High Grade Office Space and/or Associated Activities in Close Proximity to the Lismore CBD
Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified companies for the purchase and aevelopment of a strategic site in close proximity to the Lismore CBD. The partner will develop serviced apartment style accommodation, and associated or ancillary uses to these activities and the nearby Lismore CBD.
For a number of years Council has recognised that there is a demand for serviced apartments in or around the Lismore CBD. This demand was articulated in the second 'dot point' in key investment offers in The Lismore Prospectus (launched in 2015), being "Serviced apartments for professional staff (health, education, justice and financial services sectors)". The provision of high grade office space is also seen as a key opportunity for the identified site.
